Symphony Skin preview
The Vanity Universe Skin Fair starts today, and as always, my friend Claire Harford of Symphony Skins was kind enough to drop her latest & greatest on me for review.
The new skin tone is called Base, and is making “her” debut later today. This is the deepest, darkest, richest tone ever released by Symphony Skins. The make-up & skin are flawless, giving an almost air-brushed look.
Claire provides day time make up, as well as darker night-time make up, with several colored brow options, as well as an enhanced breast option.

“Bear Feet” Savvy Shoe Preview!
We are slaves to making our SL avatars heavenly visions, free of imperfections, and real-life looking. Its no surprise that the prim toed shoes are sweeping the SL market place and selling like hot cakes, even when priced at nearly $2400L per pair.
The shoes are elegant and sexy. The toes neatly aligned in the narrow shoe, the pedicure you’d have to spend hours for in the salon. The real life me isn’t comfortable in heels, and as much as I’d like to be graceful in a good pair of stilettos its just not me. My avatar on the other hand, rarely wears anything else.
I have written an article on prim toe shoes previously, (Essence of Style) and stated that I would love to buy a pair of shoes, that would instantly match my skin tone. As much as I love “pretty feet shoes”, it drives me mental the amount of time I spend trying to get them to match perfectly. Realistically, I know that there are no highlights on the prim feet, therefore, they’ll never match exactly, but I am a little “OC” like that.
HoneyBear Lilliehook, has made my dream come true! Granted, these shoes are still in the beta testing stage, but I am so excited about these, I couldn’t wait for the official release!
These shoes have some of SL’s best and most popular skin tones programmed in. Redgrave, Belleza, Laqroki, and Lion Skins newest release, “Cana” are just a click away on the easy-to-use hud.
Here I am wearing a Cana skin, and I love how the shoes seamlessly match. The nail polish choices are wonderful, and you will find something to match every outfit.
The right ankle is elegantly adorned with simple chain. There aren’t any charms, or any unnecessary clutterings. These shoes will look perfect with your mini skirt, jeans, capris and your formal gown. They are simply elegant, and named “Savvy”. Hey wait, that’s me!! *smiles broadly*
The shoes will be available in a gorgeous array colors and released at the unbelievably low price of just $299L. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for a FAT-pack!

:: Psycho Kat :: is back!
I got a message, and a box full of goodies from Cale Barbosa of Psycho Kat. He is back in Second Life after a 6+ month hiatus. His rest served him well. Not only did he bring back the tattoos he’s been most known for, this time he is also trying his hand at skins and clothes.
Here is a sample of what you can find at Psycho Kat.
This is a sample of the brightly colored “Hooks & Scars” tattoo, along with the “Adreena” skin. Most of the tattoo samples I received, also have a faded version for those who prefer a more worn look to their ink.
The skins are definitely something for those who are more daring or adventurous and not something that I personally would wear on a daily basis; but I do love the definition put on the eyes with the liner.
I will definitely wear these skins again. I have specific ideas in mind for each of these skins, for club events, etc.
Below are a small sample of some of the clothes that Cale has been working on.
This is a limited edition of the “Cold Love” Set.
Sweet, yet sexy is the vibe of this ensemble for me. The cardigan insinuates wholesome, and the expose mid-rift indicates otherwise.
If you prefer, cardigans and jeans are also sold as separates, and the only limit to your style, is your imagination.
The “Rainbow Cupcake” dress shown below has a very sweet, retro feel upon first glance.
Take a closer look, and you’ll notice the skulls adorning the hems of the dress. I love that the skulls add a complete contrast to the girly hearts and rainbows.
If the pics above aren’t enough to entice you to pop over to see Cale, and his new store, perhaps the fact that he has some product samples set out, in the form of dollarbies for you to try for yourself.

Second Spaces Sale
In case you haven’t heard, Second Spaces has opened another store on the Journey sim. In celebration, shop owner Elle Kirshner is having a 50% off sale.
This is a fantastic deal on her already reasonably priced furniture pieces. I own quite a few items from the store already and have to say that Elle’s attention to detail is amazing, especially in the awesome accessories!

It’s Britney, Baby!
Hello friends!
I had the pleasure of meeting Adrianna Marquez this evening, and we got to talking. I told her that last week, I blogged her store, A&k designs on the Virtual Freebies blog. I sent her the link to check it out. Lucky for me, she was thrilled with what I had to say.
Adrianna has recently finished up a new outfit, that she was kind enough to pass it on me. It’s a tribute of sorts to pop sensation, Britney Spears.
With the blonde hair at these angles, I give a reasonable facsimile of the Diva herself, wouldn’t you say?
The set comes with everything you see here. The fedora, tank, corset, the prim tie, pants & shoes. The skin has also been included as a bonus item!
Here is a close up.
The skin is quite tanned as you can see, and has a nice peach, or light coral colored cheeks and lips. The eyes have heavy turquoise eye shadow, which is quite reasonable when you’re Britney, baby!
Regular price of this outfit will be between 350-400L. Adrianna didn’t have that information handy when we spoke, but she did say that it was on sale until Monday, for just 100L!!! What a fantastic deal!
I look forward to seeing more from Adrianna, and her crew at A&k Designs!

Inga Wind
I heard about Inga Windthrough fellow blogger and friend, HoneyBear Lilliehook. I hadn’t run across her creations in my SL travels (for shame) until Honey pointed the way.
*IW* has quite an assortment of clothes. Everything ranging from jeans, evening wear, even a wedding gown.
There are discounted sections in the store as well,with selections priced a 0L and some at 30L. Feast your eyes on this example of what 30L can buy you.
Group Membership certainly has its privileges at *IW*. New releases, like that shown below are regularly priced at 300L.
If you are a group member, you can pick it up for 220L. That’s a significant 80L savings, and a great deal considering the shoes are purse are included in the purchase price.

It was love at first sight when I found this dress. I had to have it. It’s certainly not something I’ll wear everyday, and wasn’t on sale - consider it a guilty pleasure.
Matching shoes come with this set, and jewelry is also available and sold separately. Have a look at the rich, detailed texture.
Notice the feather accent on the toe of the shoe. The same feather is used in the earrings, and necklace.
*IW* often has store hunts. She has 2 running until tomorrow, the Cinderella Hunt and the Petal Hunt.
If you decide to do the Cinderella hunt, you will be looking for 9 acorns through the store, there are some “bogus” acorns as well, just to make it more fun. One of the acorns I picked up gave me an aspirin. *LOL*
The Petal Hunt has you looking for flower petals, that contain pieces to 5 outfits. *Good Luck*

Luna’s Boutique
I was perusing the blog circuit today, and came across a post with the deal of the century! For today only, this gorgeous outfit is only 100L, boots included. Amazing, I know!
Head over to Luna’s Boutique, to buy your own copy of “*Night*.” This outfit, with the long skirt, leather bra & corset is available on the main floor. After today, it will be marked up to 700L which is still not out of line for an outfit of this quality, especially since the boots are included.
As shown in the pic above, the gown does come with a fur collar. If fur is not your thing, it still looks great with the shrug without the fur.
There is a bit of bling in the fur collar, and the belt buckle, but its not over done.
The leather boots are included, and are a great staple to any wardrobe, without all the scripts lagging you down.
Hurry over while its on sale.
Don’t forget to have a look around the store as well. You will find a 100L section, as well as a 50L section, and freebies. You will be sure to find something to suit your budget.

Dolly Rock
I was reading a blog post last week, on It’s Only Fashion. It was noted that we do not see enough DollyRock in the Fashion Feed. I have been a long time customer of the store, and could not agree more.
I have several outfits from the store, and have noticed that owner/designer, Cherry Cheevers has been re-doing some of my earlier purchases.
One of my favorite things about the store is that the new items are released on Sunday, morning and are priced at a mere 100L until midnight. I have scored major deals belonging to the update group, and suggest that you join as well.
I can’t even remember how I stumbled upon the store, so long ago, but the selection of clothes is wonderful. It doesn’t matter what your mood, or occasion to go shopping, DollyRock will have something suitable.
When the season rolls around, you will also find great Holiday items as well, ranging from Halloween patterned stockings, to glorious Christmas gowns.
Here are some examples of things I have collected.
DollyRock is one of those stores that keep fashion affordable and for that Cherry, we will always be grateful.

Callie Cline Appreciation Day
A blogger challenge of sorts has been issued. Its a tribute to Callie for all she had done, in putting together the Blogger Appreciation day, which turned in to a week of festivities as indicated in my previous post.
Being a long time “caL-gaL” and forever spoiled by our lovely leader, as well as a member of the Blogger Group, I am only too happy to honor Ms. Callie Cline.
How do you thank someone that rallied together SL’s best-of-the-best, got them to donate amazing gifts, some of them being exclusive offerings to spoiled all the group members? Mere words will never be enough, they could never do her justice.
Callie is iconic. Here are a few examples of Callie’s achievements.

I was going through my inventory today, looking for something CC to blog, I tried on many things, I mixed & I matched. I went over to the store, looked around, and who do you suppose gave me a big welcoming “Hi Savannah!”? Miss Callie herself!
I purchased some accessories, tried on some more clothes, frantic, not knowing what I was going to say about our beloved Diva or the outfit, then the light bulb went off over my head!
I asked myself, “What do you think of, when you think of Callie?” The answer was simple. LOVE.
I present you with “Angel Love.”
I picked up this outfit around Valentine’s Day. I absolutely adore it. It lends itself to the “Shabby Chic” or “Grunge Princess” style, with the simple, long sleeved, printed white t-shirt, paired with a patterned sculpted waist band, and flexi tulle skirt.
The accessories, oooooh the accessories! *swoons*
A zebra printed, silk neck scarf, that matches the zebra print Kick Shickers, which have a band around the ankle, of skulls, and big jeweled heart gems.
The detail in the gems alone, is exquisite. See the pic below for a close up of the jewelry included in the pack. You can’t help but notice the size of that ROCK!
A larger version of the heart gem adorns the waist of the skirt. This gem is color changeable, making this skirt an invaluable piece in your inventory. Also included is the leather and diamond bracelet also shown above.
Amazing isn’t it!? Just like Callie.
From the bottom of my heart Callie, thank you for everything you did to bring us all together last week, all you do for your caL gaLs, and everyone else who’s life you have touched just by being you. You truly are an inspiration and role model.
