Hello dear readers;
I have decided to keep my Savvy Shopper blog more fashion related and have moved the house & garden posts to another blog so if you came looking for one of those posts, you can find them at their brand new home at Savvy Shopper House & Home.

The Dominion Fashion District has yet another event going on. I love that the stores on the sim frequently get together for events like hunts & special sales.
The sale started August 21st and runs through the 31st. Participating Designers at The Dominion Fashion District and Dominion Fetish, have set out items at their stores on sale for just 99 lindens! Just look for the ‘star’ placed by the specially priced item in each store.
Here are some of the awesome deals I picked up!
This “Gaga” inspired outfit comes with both dresses, and the shoes and is available from The Dominion.
The outfit below is from *BOOM* and includes the accessories shown below.
The red leopard outfit is available at (nova) and includes the shoes!
This snake skin mini dress is Ibizarre’s sale item and also includes two different colors of tights, not shown here.
[LeeZu!] has a sale item as well. You can get this “LouLita” dress for just 99L. What a great steal!
There is no shortage of shoes either!
The shoes on the top left are from MsDesigns, the awesome boots are from Eva (a personal favorite) and the shoes on the lower left are included with the Gaga outfit, or you can purchase different colors at the Dominion Landing point, as long as you’re wearing your Vinyl Cafe group tag for just 75L.
There are just a couple of more days left for you to get these great bargains, so do not delay!!

Not only is this the title of an 80’s pop album, it’s the name of Rowan Carroll’s shoe store in Second Life ®.
Rowan’s inventory consists of shoes that I’d label as “fun” or sometimes “silly” – definitely not what you seen in every other shoe store on the grid. It’s Rowan’s imagination that really sets her apart from the rest.
Here you have the Paisley Pumps in “Curacao”.
Not only is the color gorgeous, but using a paisley shape as the heel was a pretty cool idea that really dresses up a classic pump style shoe.
An example of a “silly” shoes are this next pair, which really made me giggle when I saw them.
No, your eyes haven’t deceived you, Rowan has used a phallic symbol as a shoe heel!
Do you have a sweet tooth?
This yummy pair is part of a collection of our favorite childhood confectionaries. Wrapped bonbons adorn the heel above, while others include lollipops and cupcakes as well as a pair of Mary Jane’s decorated with candy hearts!
If you prefer a cool treat, there are Sundae Shoes!!
These delicious delights come in 3-flavors which you can purchase in a fat-pack or separately. Notice the waffle-cone heel – it is just precious.
Rowan also has more everyday styles, such as this pair of sling-back wedges.
This shoe style, is one of two in the main store, that have posters indicating that the same texture is used in an outfit at another store for a completely coordinated look!
Do you dare to be unusual too??

I am quite excited to have been added to Cynful’s blogger list. If you haven’t been in a while, or have never been, I’ll be showing you a few very good reasons to visit.
As always, each piece of clothing is available in a wide array of colors. There is definitely something to suit every taste.
Some articles of clothing provide more than one way to wear them, which is always a bonus. It’s like getting 2 (or more) outfits for the price of one.
A perfect example of the options available, is the “Fluffyness dress”. This delightful garment comes with 2 top choices as shown below, and 3 different skirt lengths.
The “Kini” also provides you with choices. A boy shorts bottom as well as a string bottom.
One of my favorite pieces of clothing are capri’s, and Cynful has released some fantastic designs!
I am very fond of the Tweedylicious collection, it is sexy & casual.
Summer Breeze is another favorite of mine, perfect for hanging out at your favorite club.
The prim top of the dress, comes it three sizes and is modifiable for a perfect fit. There are several color choice in this series, absolutely awesome don’t you think?
Last, but certainly not least, we have this sexy little number called “Twodevider,” shown here in eggplant.
We are starting to see the autumn colors, but this outfit gives no indication that the cooler weather is on the way. It’s super hot!
If these items are not enough to entice you to head over to Cynful, you might be interested to know that the shopping sim has expanded to include some of the best designs from clothing to jewelry to skins to furniture.
Have fun shopping!

I was out wandering the grid today, and saw a girl wearing the cutest prim top. I quickly inspected it, clicked on the creator profile, and TP’d over to a store that was new to me, Ce Cubic Effect. I am not often wowed by clothing stores, but the range of clothes in this store is WOW worthy! The sculpted prims and attention to detail will certainly catch your eye. While the prices are higher than what I would normally be willing to pay for a skirt, or top I can certainly appreciate the time & effort put in creating these wonderful pieces. The clothing line ranges from halter tops, layered skirts, jackets, belts and the list goes on.
I thought this ensemble was so cute. It comes with 2 top styles, so you can dress it up, or dress it down. The belt was purchased separately and works well with either top. This comes in a variety of colors and can be worn with flip-flops, heels or flats.
The next outfit, is actually 2 separately purchased pieces. This set was actually used on the vendor ad for the scroll skirt, so I went hunting for the halter top.
I will probably wear this as shown above; however the skirt would make an awesome addition to my beach wear as a sarong as well. I did have to make modifications to the prims to cover my big butt. The only improvement I would like to see, is to have a removable re-size script to make alterations a little easier.
I managed to restrained myself, and only purchased a couple of outfits, but its definitely on my list of stores to visit again.

Many of you know the name ShannonCharlize Gossipgirl and associate it with NLimbo poses. While she does co-own the popular pose store, I would like to introduce you to another one of Shannon’s projects.
Shannon has been toying with the idea of making clothes for a while now, and has recently opened a store on the Southern Comfort sim. For now, there are a few essentials, with plans for more to be added in the near future. Ladies, take your guys – there are some fantastic t-shirts for about 75L. Here are some examples:
There are of course goodies for the ladies as well.
Both of these items come in an array of bright summer colors!
Shannon is a very artistic and very talented. I wish Shannon, the best of luck with her new endeavor, and believe that we will see more fun and fabulous things from her very soon.

I have been a long time fan of the Cupcakes store. They have cute, affordable, functional fashions as well as some pretty awesome skins. While the store is being remodeled, you can join the group for FREE; usually, there is a $L250 join fee; but its definitely Lindens well spent.
Store owners, Rosemary Gailbraith & Mimi Coral are very generous to their group members, offering 50% discounts on store gift cards, random sales, buy one – get one free or exclusive make up.
Along with these incredible group benefits, they have also started a 1000L Skin Club.
The initial release was June 20th, and offered 24 skin tones & variations all “drama” themed.
This month, 1000L will get you:
- 2 DAHLIA makeups, all tones including freckle options
- 1 FANTASY makeup, all tones
That equates to 17 skins, for just 1000L!
This is a limited time offer and the last club pack of the summer, so hurry over. Sale ends tonight!
DAHLIA is the newest addition to the Cupcakes skin line. The original release of the skin consisted of 4 tones, Cameo/Lace, Copper/Sun-kissed, Sienna/Nutmeg, and Mocha!
These skins offer a natural, healthy glow, with tons of make up choices and tint-able brows. Skins are a great deal at the normal retail price of $L800 each – making the skin club an even more amazingly awesome deal!
Check out the fantasy skins below. These are just 2 of the 9 included in the pack.
Fantasy skins come complete with matching elf ears for each skin tone.
Along with the Club Pack, I picked up this Dahlia skin, in copper tone, with the makeup, “Sanguine”.
I love it!
As a side note, the discount room offers 4 skin lines priced at just 250L per skin. I noticed an Asian skin included in the discount, with very subtle make up. Absolutely gorgeous!
Stop by the Cupcakes Store, and demo these beauties.
I popped in to Second Spaces today, one of my weekly stops. I noticed that owner, Elle Kirshner has freebies set out for the 4th of July!
Stop by & pick these up, they are only out until Monday morning.

My old friend, Babyhoney Bailey, has released a new set of Mua skins. I was very excited about her last release, and I have to say, she has exceeded my expectations with the new line. You can view these beauties at the .44 Caliber Main Store.
Follow the arrows on the floor to the new skins. (Don’t forget to slap that subscribo on the way by).
Skin tones include Pale, Natural, Beach, Spice & Cocoa. The make up on the skin is artistically done and ranges from a minimalist, natural look to outrageous, and runway suitable.
The shading of the lips on the skin is absolutely fantastic – they are slightly pouty, sexy and definitely kissable!
Here are a few of my favorites:
The pictures really don’t do the skins justice. You must get down to the store & check out the demos. At $L400 each, you can afford to buy all your favorites!

I have been totally MIA, I know! Shame on me! I had a major break from blogging, and I think I am ready to get back in to it. There is a lot going on the SL-grid and you need to be informed!
I am working on my first hunt, of the year! Sad, I know – quite ironic coming from someone who a year or so ago was doing them all! Anyway, I promise you’ll hear more from me soon!
